well hello gina, love your reviews, and I am looking forward to read your european adventures.
Toronto's more "famed" chef is on this way out and I was wondering if you would or have had a chance to dine at Susur before his final farewell??? I had dinner there just this week and being in the food industry I am somewhat glad to see him leave. Our dinner was BORING. The best of Susur menu? It had no reflection of Susur at all on it. No sense of being....no classic Asian inspired flavor (except...the soy/hoisin glaze on a piece of Kobe) Nothing was dazzling, nothing made me ask myself "what is that??" It was a safe tasting menu and a sheer dissapointment. The only highlight was the pastry. It is time now to highlight the up-coming chef's in this city. I would love to hear you reactions to his final display of "culinary geneous" Trackbacks
